Band History

Neclar are are group of four boys and Roland formed the band in May 2004, note this, these boys are all aged between 10 and 12 years old!!!!!! They write all of their own material.

Within 1 month of forming they were out giging and enjoying it! Playing Gigs with bands twice their age. They have a fairly large following and ended 2004 with a 'Battle of the Bands' win at Cranleigh Art Centre and a performance/interview on SKY NEWS. It was a great year with a total of 17 gigs between July and Dec.

A six track EP was recorded in November 2004.

2005 saw Neclar have another good year with plenty of gig's and then take to the stage at Guilfest 2005 on the Rock Sound Cave to play along side some of the best Rock bands in the country - The Glitterati, The GA GA's, Hurricane Party to name but a few. www.guilfest.co.uk

This year 2006 the band now have a new line up Consisting of Roland Johnson, Cristian Johnson, Josh Sawley and a new set list with many new songs, some of which we will be recording this Easter. The guys have been asked to play again at Guilfest this summer, and have also played Sound in Leicester Square.
